PHUKET, THAILAND – Hi Ladies, it’s Judy Wong here from Hong Kong, only this time I am writing to you from Thailand. It’s amazing how many people are always looking for more ways to make money yet often don’t have the skills, means or conviction to help them. Notice, I never once mentioned the word school or education, not because I don’t value the education I have but because I know as a matter of fact that success is not correlated with formal education.
While attending my first ever Top 1%, one-on-one coaching sessions here in Phuket, Thailand, with JT Foxx, the world’s #1 wealth and business coach. I am humbled by the number of successful entrepreneurs that I have encountered from all around the globe. When it comes to investing, there is simply one extremely important investment that we all need to make on a continuous basis and that investment is in ourselves.
A Way Forward, This Lifetime
Often times we may live in a state of denial about our current circumstances and oblivious to not moving forward in life. There is a fine line between contentment and slowly dying. Now you may disagree with the harsh words I have chosen, but when you truly think about it, it’s a law of nature.
From the moment we are born, we are meant to grow and evolve. No matter how slowly or quickly that growth takes place, it must continue and will continue until death. If something is not growing, it is actually on the decline…or to put it more bluntly it is dying.
Hence, the minute we are held in an unhealthy holding pattern, we truly owe it to ourselves to find a way to move forward, otherwise, we face the risk of slowly dying – and often not even recognizing it. Sometimes the path we must take is clear and easily identifiable, other times that path is more obscure and less apparent to us. Yet, that does not mean the path to continued growth does not exist.
Coach VS Someone Close
This is precisely where the importance of having a coach lies. The objectivity of a coach is one of the reasons it is so effective. When we become so overwhelmed by all that we are doing and caught up in our thoughts, it’s easy to miss all the signs that show us the next logical step.
While most people may consult family and friends this is often a bad idea because unless your family and friends have what you want to have, or have been where you have been, they won’t be able to give you the roadmap to guide you to where you want to be. Coaches, on the other hand, are specialists in their field and know exactly how to get you to the next level. Just as athletes get coached, so should we in everyday life.
Whether it be in the realm of relationships, career, wealth or health, there’s actually a very simple solution for getting out of your repetitive loop yet it’s a frequently overlooked solution. The solution is to find a coach that specializes in the area that needs attention, or if everything seems to need an upgrade in your life, then explore hiring a life strategist. It’s actually not rocket science. The greatest investment that we can ever make in this lifetime is in ourselves, so go find one and get moving.
